The first Vero Project Global Summit, held in Brescia from 17 to 19 March, was not just an event: it was a point of convergence.
Entrepreneurs, CEOs, technology partners and international associations engaged in a dialogue on what defines competitiveness today: execution, integration, and the ability to scale without losing control. From strategic keynotes to roundtable discussions, one message clearly emerged: in times of uncertainty, it is not those who grow the most who succeed, but those who grow better.
The audience itself reflected the quality of the gathering, with international delegations from France, the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, South Africa, India, Australia and the Czech Republic—confirming that transformation is a global agenda, not a local one.
The contribution of the institutional and academic world was equally pivotal, with the participation of SDA Bocconi School of Management, the University of Brescia, the University of Bari and LIUC – Università Cattaneo, whose insights enriched the debate on strategy, skills and industrial transformation. Special thanks go to our guests from Microsoft and Hexagon Manufacturing, whose contributions highlighted how data and artificial intelligence create value only when embedded within robust, well-governed operational architectures.
The Summit also showcased the strength of the associative ecosystem: CEFAMOL and ISTMA, with their pan-European vision of the tooling industry; CONFAPI and UCISAP, offering an authoritative Italian perspective on standards, supply chains and competitiveness.
Through the testimonies of companies such as Zero Clamp, Gruppo Parpas, Ergotech and Meusburger, a key concept emerged: no company can face this phase alone. The ecosystem is not an option—it is a necessity.
The presence of market leaders in the audience further confirmed the central role of the ecosystem: in the CNC sector, Fagor Automation alongside leading technology players such as Heidenhain and Fanuc Italia; alongside them, the machine tool world represented by CHETO. Different experiences, united by the same need: turning complexity and volatility into operational control and competitive advantage.
The message is clear: no company competes alone. Integration, strong partnerships and a shared language between strategy and execution are essential.
One Vision. One Ecosystem. Not a slogan, but a shared commitment. The Global Summit has defined the framework. The journey now continues
